Here's a new set to use for a Book or Library theme!  I have 2 ways to use these. I found these rhymes at Storytime in the Stacks' blog post HERE. I added an enlarged  and laminated pic of our library card that we give out to our children patrons. I'm sorry but these colors are not true to life. In person they are more vibrant! I used 2 shades of each color except the pattern books.  I found a Google image that I adapted and deconstructed for my pattern. These were quick and easy!  When I use the ten books I am going to print and laminate book covers of favorite picture book characters to 'hide' behind each book.

Another set of Finger Puppets - Bears!

 

Here's my latest, 2 Little Bears!  I deconstructed and simplified a Google image and used some acrylic paint and slick fabric paint and 2 little googley eyes and I've got a cute set that can be either, Teddy Bears or  just bear cubs.

Hey Diddle Diddle

 

I saw the cutest felt set of Hey Diddle Diddle on the blog, Flannel Board Fun! I adapted it a little and made me a set to use for storytime at the library.  Nursery rhymes are a fun way to introduce rhythm and vocabulary to preschoolers.  We're doing a moon theme soon and I really wanted a cow to jump over the moon!  Hey Diddle Diddle is always Fun with Friends at Storytime!
